What we are looking for from you

An exciting opportunity has arisen at their site in Chichester, West Sussex for an ACA qualified Financial Accountant to ensure the business unit meets all its financial reporting obligations by establishing effective processes, controls and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a public practice background and have worked in industry post qualification, especially in the FMCG sector. Accuracy and excellent attention to detail are essential to the role, as is the ability to work with minimal supervision, to prioritize effectively and be deadline focused.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare accurate and timely local monthly management accounts and Group reporting submissions for presentation to the Senior Management Team (SMT).
  • Co-ordinate the annual forecasting and budgeting process and prepare templates for timely submission to Group Finance.
  • Prepare subsidiary statutory accounts and act as primary point of contact for external auditors.

Our client is looking for a German speaking technical translator to join their team based in Milton Keynes. This is a part-time, maternity cover role.

Reporting to the Translation Manager, the role is to translate technical documentation and other texts from German into English, ensuring that the target text reads like original English (e.g. order & fabrication manuals, operating instructions, computer applications and test reports) accurately. You will be responsible for the translation of all marketing, advertising and contracts to a standard fit for publication.

You will oversee any internal and external translations ensuring the high quality and consistency of the brand. You will be responsible for managing your own work schedule and be responsible for all deadlines set.

You will participate in the collection of company-specific terminology and make sure these are kept up to date and available to others within the business.
